My Record a) Murphy kept all of her 2024 campaign promises. She will honor her 2026 promises. b) Passed Five (5) bills in a legislature in which only 28% of ALL bills pass. i) Supported Public Schools/Defended Local Control: Passed her prime sponsored HB1374 bill to expedite withdrawal from Cooperative School Districts. This bill directly benefited Deering and Francestown. ii) Worked Across the Aisle: Co-sponsored legislation to reduce a 12-month backlog in childcare supply. Persuaded Democrats in both House and Senate to change to vote unanimously in support of her childcare supply bill. iii) The other three bills protected private property owners’ rights, secured grid infrastructure reliability, and ensured government transparency and the public’s right to know. c) Increased Public School Funding: Voted in support of increasing the State Education Aid to municipalities by $96.7 million, representing a 9.5% increase. d) Protected New Hampshire Taxpayers: Worked to defeat several bills and amendments that would have added new sales or income taxes and additional property taxes. e) Detailed strategy to reduce or eliminate property taxes: Murphy developed the acclaimed NH Advantage 2.0 Blueprint for Prosperity to give you property tax relief without over developing our state. You can view a presentation which describes the plan here. (Link to presentation or embed the presentation.) f) Murphy filed a bill to begin the process to establish a Court of Chancery to attract recurring incorporation fees, a new growing source of revenue for New Hampshire. g) Proven track record of developing solutions to complex problems like property taxes, childcare shortage, and healthcare affordability. h) Credibility and strong relationships with peers from BOTH Democrat and Republican political parties i) High probability re-appointment to House Ways & Means Committee at invitation of Chairman. Also, being recruited to House Finance Committee which works on state spending priorities. j) Worked effectively with State Agencies: Influenced the Business and Economic Affairs Department to increase investments and focus on business recruitment and the NH Advantage 2.0 Blueprint for Prosperity strategy. k) Credibility with House Leadership and House Ways & Means Committee Peers: Appointed to Special Subcommittee to reconcile Education Funding Formula in September 2026.
